Grab a book and a friend and join us for the “Unearth a Story” 2026 Summer Reading Challenge, where reading earns you awesome prizes and raffle chances! With a reading challenge and programs for all ages, this is the perfect chance to come together for some summer fun.

How it Works

This summer, we’re shaking things up a bit and making some changes! Readers of all ages will participate in the same challenge while logging days of reading instead of books and minutes. Every book counts, including comics, eBooks, audiobooks, eAudiobooks, and Playaways! Keep track of your progress on Beanstack, with the Beanstack app, or on a paper log from the library.The challenge goal?  Earn a small prize for every 5 days of reading logged or enter a raffle!

• Prizes: A small prize or raffle entry for every 5 days of reading for at least 15 minutes
• Challenge Goal: Read for at least 15 minutes a day for a minimum of 30 days over the summer (June 13-August 16). After reaching the challenge goal, keep going to earn extra prizes or bonus raffle entries.
