1000 Books Before Kindergarten (Ongoing)
Birth to Kindergarten
Once you’ve registered for the challenge on Beanstack, you’re ready to start reading and logging books!
Any book your child hears from beginning to end counts – library books, books from home, audiobooks, books read at storytime, ebooks, and books read over and over again all count.
As you reach each 100 book goal, when you register, and when you complete the challenge, your child will earn badges and rewards.
At 500 books, your child earns a paperback book to keep and a certificate of accomplishment.
At 1,000 books, your child earns a hardcover book to keep, a bookplate in a book of their choice from the library’s collection, and a certificate of completion.
